Sometimes it works. Sometimes not.

I have an HP Chrome laptop that is about 1.5 years old. But it is kept up to date. I bought this because I needed extra ports for external hard drives with a job and a wireless mouse. Suffice it to say that he works when he wants. I had to buy an adapter to make it work. Again it works when it wants. I've tried other items in the adapters several times and they are recognized with no problems. So I'm not sure what a freeze is. I'm sure it's a quality product when it works, but I have to give it a 2 out of 5.
