This is very simple but gets the job done so that my pup doesnt need a cone. She is able to lick through the fabric so wouldn't recommend leaving pet alone without something else to deter from licking.Bought the XL for my 9month old german shepherd who is about 72 pounds and is very long and lean.Based on the measurements, i would size up or round up measurements a few inches. I ordered the one with 28-32" neck opening, which should be plenty of space since hers measured 29, but the neck area is incredibly tight. it fits well everywhere else, but the keep the snaps closed i am having to pin it around the neck.
