I've tried several of these types of water packs and this one was my favorite. The water bladder is in a separate pocket held by a velcro tab and supported by additional velcro straps. (Removing the reservoir is a bit of a hassle, but at 3 liters you'll probably only do it once a day.) A water reservoir is one of those types where you slip off the bag clip. This is great because you can fill the entire top of the bag, add ice if you want, dry it slightly, etc. You can upgrade your bladder if you need a better valve or easier opening/closing. Bag.Bags for all your belongings are very practical and come in different shapes and sizes. It's easy to stay organized, so if you need to grab something quickly, you can find it. Very comfortable backpack. I plan to use this for many years.
