Super helpful! fits accessory

We took this backpack with us on our vacation to Missouri. It was very comfortable, compact and could fit more than it looks. We've taken this backpack to the zoo, Six Flags, aquarium, etc. and it has never let us down. I recommend this product not only for hiking, but for any vacation!

Durable, easy to use and environmentally friendly

I really like this backpack. We go to Disney parks and camp a lot, and I think this would be the perfect replacement for a couple of plastic water bottles. I also like how I can store things other than water in my backpack. I think it's durable and I like the soft padding on the shoulder pads.

Great bag, bladder is fine.

Good packaging for the price. Well built and comfortable with a decent amount of storage space. About as good as the big brands. The bubble is of lower quality than a $100 pack but still gets the job done. If you go hiking several times a year, that's quite enough. If you ride every weekend, a higher quality bladder is recommended.

Holds up well, easy to clean, holds a decent amount of stuff

We've used this on short hikes in Yosemite. It holds a lot of water and since the entire top opens up, it was very easy to fill and clean the next day. The hose was long enough and easy to drink from and it had a stopper to keep it from leaking. I can easily stash entire bottles of sunscreen and bug spray, not to mention hats, sunglasses, and snacks (including a few sandwiches). Happy tourists :)

Ideal for hiking/fishing or any other purpose

I received this backpack because I saw someone wearing it camping. He hasn't disappointed yet. I was able to fill the rear radiator with ice cold water. The ice cold water cooled my back and also helped me stay hydrated. I have also used this backpack while canoeing and crab fishing. I was in such a small place that I couldn't get water. I've used a hydration pack and it's amazing. I can't wait for more adventures with this product!

Impossible to close

INCREDIBLY difficult to close a bag with a snap closure. I don't know who came up with this design, but there must be an easier way to seal the bag - maybe unscrew the lid? The mouthpiece also doesn't release a lot of water at once. Suitable for lighter hikes/activities but not for more strenuous work (e.g. mountain hikes). Overall you get what you pay for. Had I known the pouch would only take 15 minutes to seal, I would have spent the extra $30 on a better quality water pouch.

The perfect package! Not too big, not too small, just the right pocket size and flexibility

I've tried several of these types of water packs and this one was my favorite. The water bladder is in a separate pocket held by a velcro tab and supported by additional velcro straps. (Removing the reservoir is a bit of a hassle, but at 3 liters you'll probably only do it once a day.) A water reservoir is one of those types where you slip off the bag clip. This is great because you can fill the entire top of the bag, add ice if you want, dry it slightly, etc. You can upgrade your bladder if…
