Great jacket for survivalists or long distance travelers.
Order XXlarge if you are 1.80m tall. XL was too short for me. I have tested it several times in heavy rain for long periods. It's definitely waterproof/resistant. You can definitely use it for long hikes. If they added pit zips for ventilation, this jacket would be a top contender in this backpacker category. I can stow all my survival gear in the zippered pockets. Mylar blanket, knife, water container, flashlight, gloves and face shield in cold weather.
