does not dry quickly - takes 24 hours
I bought these because I thought I would wash them on holiday and they would dry overnight. I did a test run. I washed 4 different pairs: a pair of regular cotton socks, a pair of hiking socks, and a pair of inexpensive, relatively comfortable polyester socks. It took 24 hours to dry. Also cotton. The other two dried for 8-10 hours. Comfortable socks but don't dry quickly.
