I bought these because I thought I would wash them on holiday and they would dry overnight. I did a test run. I washed 4 different pairs: a pair of regular cotton socks, a pair of hiking socks, and a pair of inexpensive, relatively comfortable polyester socks. It took 24 hours to dry. Also cotton. The other two dried for 8-10 hours. Comfortable socks but don't dry quickly.

I bought these socks for a recent trip to Europe hoping they would dry quickly. The socks themselves are very comfortable and of high quality, but I wouldn't use the word "quick drying". They seem to take as long as my regular old Hanes socks after a wash in the sink.

I wear Nike Air Force One mid length sneakers due to ankle problems. These socks fit perfectly and feel great and I'm a pain in the ass when it comes to socks. Socks always confuse me in the toe area, but as I said, these are not very comfortable. They are visible behind the medium peaks, but the high peaks will likely obscure them.
