Review on SOLAX COOLMAX Breathable Performance Athletic by Marty Orthodontics

So I've only had one pair of hiking socks before and they're the official Boy Scout socks. When I was younger, hiking socks either didn't exist or were rare. Fast forward to now, at 42, I have Boy Scout socks. They're comfortable, and although I've ridden in them for about 5-6 miles on average a couple of times, I've found them to be different. Very convenient. So now I have a job where I walk about 3-4 miles a day and stand most of the 8 hour shift even when I'm not walking. Even though I've only had these socks for two weeks, they've changed the game. I can say that they are almost equal to the Boy Scout socks in every way, from fit to comfort and materials. For the first few weeks at my new job, I wore normal cotton socks and got blisters. These socks eliminated that. I was actually eager to run around in them more to test them out and I'm happy to report that there wasn't even a hot spot, let alone blisters. They are very comfortable and you can feel the quality. From what I can tell they have excellent cushioning in all the right places and sweat dries fairly quickly. They fit great even after multiple washes. I suspect they will be very durable but as it has only been a couple of weeks I've given them a 3 in that area as I'm not sure which is why I'm rating them as average for now. The thickness is perfect for me. They fit just like regular socks, apart from the extra padding in the heel and toe, which obviously helps with blisters. They are not thick and bulky but are perfect for me. Best of all, I can easily machine wash and dry them. I always wash in cold water and always reheat on low to medium heat and they hold up like new. These socks are not the cheapest, but they are not the most expensive hiking socks either. And I have to say I think I found the perfect balance between cost and convenience. I love her.
