This VGA to HDMI Gana Link adapter works as intended. I used it to connect my old laptop with a VGA output and my 50" TV with an HDMI input. The picture and sound quality via HDMI is pretty good. This gadget really helped me use my old laptop and connect it to my new TV and create an all-in-one computer, surfing and entertainment system. For a low price, this device works very well. I would recommend this to anyone interested in VGA to HDMI conversion. A small problem is that this device is only equipped with a female VGA connector. My laptop also has a female VGA port. I had to use a different VGA cable to connect the two. As a result, 4 cables were connected to this adapter: a VGA cable, an audio cable, an HDMI cable, and a USB cable. It looks sloppy but I hid it in my TV cabinet so it's not a big problem for me but might be a problem for someone else. I would recommend that the seller also pack a male-to-male adapter with this adapter. Then it will be better.
