I bought this strip because I didn't want to spend money on an overpriced Philips product. It is great! After creating my Magic Home Pro account, they synced to my Wi-Fi router immediately. I then synced it with my Alexa app and the recognition process worked great. Also, I've noticed that some people say that Alexa doesn't let you change the light with your voice. These people are wrong or just doing it wrong. Not only can you toggle the power strip, you can also change the colors. Just make sure you find the light bar in the Alexa app and refer to the lights with the name you gave them. I added a video to prove it works. All in all a great product.
