Review on 🔊 Sanus WSS51 Wireless Speaker Stand: Enhance Sonos Five and Play:5 Audio – Vertical & Horizontal Design, Cable Management, Premium Alloy Material (White) by Flavio Scarola

I bought a pair of these for my recently purchased Sonos Play 5 speakers. Once assembled they look attractive and go well with my other Sonos products. However, as you can see in the attached image, your speakers aren't really being held up by anything. Each landscape speaker is literally held in place by a tiny piece of non-slip rubber on the bottom of each speaker. Considering that these speakers cost $500 each, it's reasonable to expect a $120 speaker stand to fully secure the speaker! Going back to the same picture, you can see that Sanus recommends purchasing 3M Command Strips to make up for the shortcomings of their own product. I find it cheap and quite fun. The second issue I faced was assembly. My first stand came together with no problems and seems pretty solid. The second, however, had misaligned screw holes in the base and would not fit properly no matter how many times I loosened the screws and tried again. I managed to put the screws back in place, removing them in the process, and the stand still wobbles to an uncomfortably extent. I'll be buying 3M Command Strips and some spare hardware to try and salvage this dumpster, but if that doesn't work I'll be returning the racks. The quality certainly doesn't match the price or the product they are supposed to showcase. in the instructions). I took some self-tapping screws that were the right size, and they fit perfectly. I also bought a couple sets of large 3M Command brackets to attach my speakers to the stands. I'm pretty confident my speakers will be safe barring one accident that could tip the entire stand over. However, due to the incorrect hardware and the need to purchase additional speaker mount products, I would not recommend these stands to any friend.
