ok not good for mascara

for years i loved max factor waterproof mascara, it applied evenly, had lots of volume, lasted forever, no clumps or raccoon eyes in the morning. I couldn't find it and recently found out that the cover girl bought Max Factor. This mascara is dense but not as good, clumps more, leaves black flakes on cheeks, dries too quickly. However, if I'm careful I can get a nice looking lash that will stand up to water or tears.
