I bought this because the ad said it was waterproof but the bottle itself says it doesn't smudge. Needless to say, I'm not sure if it's fully waterproof. Haven't had any issues so far, but haven't worn it for swimming yet.

for years i loved max factor waterproof mascara, it applied evenly, had lots of volume, lasted forever, no clumps or raccoon eyes in the morning. I couldn't find it and recently found out that the cover girl bought Max Factor. This mascara is dense but not as good, clumps more, leaves black flakes on cheeks, dries too quickly. However, if I'm careful I can get a nice looking lash that will stand up to water or tears.

The mascara adds a little length and darkens a little, but nothing significant or drastic. Too easy for my taste. It takes some work to remove with makeup remover. Not really worth it

I would not recommend buying it. They tell you it's waterproof but it can be washed. It's not the same. I tried to return the product but was told it was not possible. If you want WATER RESISTANCE this is not for you.
