Review on πŸ“· Rugged Protection for Your Camera: Pelican 1300 Camera Case With Foam in Desert Tan by Mahmut Ojeda

Great for GoPro cameras

I have 3 GoPro cameras (1 HD Hero, 2 Hero2) and lots of GoPro accessories and was looking for a good solution to carry some things with me. What I really wanted was something that would protect my investment and that was a pretty good decision. It is sized to fit 3 GoPros in top layer cases. I also have several WiFi BacPacs and their doors on this level, as well as a WiFi remote and wrist strap. Then I added a few more spare doors (accessory doors and regular rear doors) on the level below, just below the upper rear doors. I also attached some spare adhesive mounts, some clips and some extensions with all the cables I plan to carry and it all fits pretty well. However, since I have so many extras, I couldn't find a good way to get a head mount, bib, bike mount, bar mount, and some extra stuff. I'm sure I could put smaller items in it but then there would be less foam to protect and keep shape so I figured out what I really needed in the field and what I really wanted to protect and put it in a case. I don't always need a bib or head harness, so I can just carry it in my backpack when needed. Defense-wise, Pelican is hard to beat and it turned out to be just what I needed.
