I bought two light bulbs in mid-May. By January 1, one lightbulb had burned out. The bulbs themselves look great, are solidly built and put out a good amount of light. As long as they worked I was happy. Clean conclusion, maybe I had a defective light bulb. Or . maybe they don't work any differently than the standard LEDs I've used before (at a lower cost). Update from 04/17/21: OK. I had a thought. It's possible they coated the end post with some kind of thin oil or protectant that somehow compromised the connection to the outlet. I removed the bulb and carefully cleaned the end screw and socket with a magic eraser. Then I put the bulb back in and it worked again. I have changed my rating accordingly (from 3 to 5 stars). If anything changes, I'll report back.
