Why? I had to modify.

The threaded end section did not have a push-lock knob. I had to modify it by drilling an existing hole on the other side and then threading a zip tie through it to hold it in place. I didn't want to risk it falling apart and damaging my car. I don't understand why the manufacturer made this mistake, why not add a snap button to the design of the last section like the other sections?
