Image quality is as good as the more expensive CCD camera that I also use. This camera is listed as a 'front' car camera and didn't expect or want the flipped mirror image camera that the camera has. It is more correct to speak of a reversing camera and pay attention to the reversed mirror image. Another CCD camera I have has a switch to turn reverse mirroring on and off. I wish this camera had a switch to turn it off. The rearview monitor I have has a flip switch, but it also flips the text, making the menu difficult to use. The camera comes with a mounting hole cutter but the hole hasn't been cut yet so I hope it works. I would give the camera 4 stars if the picture wasn't upside down.
