Review on ๐ŸŽพ Mueller Tennis Elbow Support Brace with Gel Pad - Black, Size Adaptable (1 Unit) by Tony Hanson

Uncomfortable on arm, hand and finger rests

What I like about this elbow brace is that it's not neoprene which always gives me a rash. However, there are some design flaws that make it uncomfortable to wear. First, there is a piece of plastic that sits inside the brace and adheres to the skin. The plastic digs into my hand when I put it on. It's soft plastic so I was able to cut it off with scissors. There's no reason for it, and it doesn't affect the strength of the brace if it's not there. The second thing that makes it uncomfortable is the width of the velcro. It goes right up to the edge of the brace so when I bend my arm the barbs rub against my arm. I've tried trimming it down to the seam line but it still comes too close to the edge to be comfortable. If I turn the brace so that the side with the hook is on the outside of my arm, the bump that should be pressing on the affected area is on the wrong side. If only they would update this bracket by removing the inner plastic piece and hooking it up. and a narrower loop I would recommend. But as it is, it's too uncomfortable to wear.
