Sounds awesome right away. I'm very picky when it comes to headphones, sound quality and comfort. I do jet ski tours in the Florida Keys and my old headphones had a cord running around my neck. The wind would have caught it and they would have climbed out. These stay in my ear, and at 55+ mph in open water I can hear the wind just a little, but not enough to distract from the music.
