Review on 👟 Salomon Women's X Mission Running Shoes - Sargasso Bluestone in Athletic Style by Joe Garczynski

I was waiting to post a review after doing about ten 1-2 hour hikes on some very rough rocky trails. Pros: You will never feel the sharp edges of the rocks, so the outsole and rubber outsole are excellent. When I first put them on I was concerned as they felt very tight so I untied the laces completely. I liked this feature (but there are downsides too) and was very happy with the fact that I can put the shoes on and off without lacing and that my feet are stable in the shoes when moving over rocks. The leather toe strap I found was a must have as it certainly reduces wear and tear. There's plenty of room at the foot of the bed, but I'd still like to order 1/2 a size larger. next time. They are true to size, but feet swell on long hikes. CONS: The laces, which I liked in the beginning and still like, are very thin and therefore rub up and down on the tongue of the shoe, which has started to "scatter" the material. It stinks because the shoes look a lot older than they really are. I'm not sure I would replace them with regular laces if I could. But you can't because the eyelets are made for those flimsy laces. Overall, this is a great, supportive, non-slip, and durable running shoe that I've really enjoyed. Oh and the colors are bright and very pretty. Hope that helps.
