Review on πŸ”’ Brinks 161 20271 Approved Luggage 2 Pack: Ultimate Travel Security Solution by Richard Cheng

Useful Reliable Best Travel Accessory

I bought these locks in a hurry before a trip abroad, no problem but they are a bit tight when maneuvering the key in the lock. It is snap lock (no key required to lock) and approved by the Transportation Security Administration. These aren't the kind of locks that other random keys would open - you need that specific brand of key. Haven't used the locks on any of my trips in the past and was a bit discreet for this trip but thought it would help as I had a layover and was concerned my luggage would land earlier. The reason for my uncertainty was that I had often heard that locked luggage attracted more attention than unlocked luggage. To an extent this was true - I know my luggage was searched at the ATS as they left a note saying something in it might be mixed up (not in those words) and although nothing was taken or damaged and I was not particularly touched. It was annoying that my luggage was searched, in the past my luggage has never been searched no matter how big it was! So I'm assuming the lockdown made it eligible for inspection! I never carry unwanted items and this was no different, so the rumors are true - lock it and you'll draw more attention to your belongings! Finally, it's a decent pair of locks and they seem strong enough for massive suitcases that do 2-3 flights at a time!
