The quality of this product is not very stable. I bought these socks in medium and small. Both were gifts to relatives. The medium is holding up well after wearing them for more than two months. The thickness of the hair on the heel has decreased, which is to be expected, but within reason. When I put my hand inside the sock in the heel position and stretch the material, I don't see my skin the way it should. If I do the same with the small size I bought I can see the skin on my arm through the fur. It should not be. This probably means that if you go down a size, you'll get holes fairly quickly. In addition, the socks are comfortable and warm. Not unbearably hot when worn indoors, but comfortable, which is nice.
