Lexi is a pit bull with a broader chest than most dogs. We can't get velcro in the front, but it fits her everywhere. She LOVES it, especially since pit bulls don't have an undercoat. We bought the large one despite being smaller, about 55 pounds, and because it doesn't have a fairing. I've washed it once since then, but since the outer layer is 100% cotton and the inner layer is 100% polyester, I didn't want to risk shrinking it, so I didn't tumble dry it. She could wear it the next day and it fit her just like it did before she washed. Sure we can't use the hood, but she still looks cute and she can even carry her own disposable pouches in her little back pocket. I highly recommend this top. I'm thinking of buying another one so it can turn itself off on laundry days.
