I just switched to Ooma Telo. A major drawback was that my old rotary phone wouldn't ring, either because Telo didn't have enough REN to run it and the other phones in my house's wiring, or because of the ring pattern Telo issued. The rotor only makes a clicking sound. Putting this on the line fixed the problem and the old rotor rattled again. I'm not using the Talk Battery, Boost Current features that also come with this device. In contrast to the RG-10A, Telo also does not support pulse dialing. Found a device called "dialgismo" that converts dialing from rotary to tone dialing without modifying the old phone. It took some work, but now I'm back in the 60's phone world!
