There is a specific ring

Worked for my application although it seems a bit expensive and doesn't support a grounded ring (not needed in my case). It also doesn't have built-in wall-mounting options (it used long cable ties and clamps). To be honest I would have bought "Ring Booster II" (another website) but didn't want to wait for it to arrive (Prime to Rescue).

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • No automatic

If you are an Ooma owner and your phones don't ring.

After switching to Ooma I had to learn very quickly about the REN, which is the level of power that phone companies use over the phone line to call your phones. Ooma sends a very weak current from his body to ensure that many phones cannot ring. This product solves this problem by adding a weak electrical current that is required to make phones ring when someone is calling. The only problem is that this device is almost double the price of Ooma. But that's only once, and then all your phones in

Pros
  • Outstanding design

My old rotor works with Ooma Telo

I just switched to Ooma Telo. A major drawback was that my old rotary phone wouldn't ring, either because Telo didn't have enough REN to run it and the other phones in my house's wiring, or because of the ring pattern Telo issued. The rotor only makes a clicking sound. Putting this on the line fixed the problem and the old rotor rattled again. I'm not using the Talk Battery, Boost Current features that also come with this device. In contrast to the RG-10A, Telo also does not support pulse…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Safety
