After switching to Ooma I had to learn very quickly about the REN, which is the level of power that phone companies use over the phone line to call your phones. Ooma sends a very weak current from his body to ensure that many phones cannot ring. This product solves this problem by adding a weak electrical current that is required to make phones ring when someone is calling. The only problem is that this device is almost double the price of Ooma. But that's only once, and then all your phones in the house will ring.
