Sloppy looking Good for drawing, painting and art supplies

I don't know how to fit these numbers evenly and tightly onto the metal surface of the mailbox. the paint flows and creates a mess because of the gaps between the stencil and the surface. have to return it. why wouldn't someone make a stencil with glue? Support. Then you can take it off after painting and leave a nice clear letter/number
