I bought it because it has multiple uses. I really try not to collect "stuff" and kitchen appliances are one of my mistakes. This is great for making meatballs! I love meatballs but hate cooking them in a pan or oven because they always have a flat side! No flat meatballs with this little machine. I cook food and freeze it to give to my 91 year old mother to eat good home cooked food. These are small meatballs, but she and I like them. I keep a bag of these in the freezer and take a few when I need a protein snack. I haven't used the other two plates yet, but will in time. Easy to clean and doesn't take up much storage space.
