I originally bought this for Takoyaki but soon discovered its versatility. I've made pancakes in a takoyaki pan with regular pancake mix and it turned out great. The pan is very easy to use and clean. I recommend preheating it to your desired temperature for 5 minutes. When I preheated it to 400-450 (hoping to heat it up faster) and then lowered it to 350 to make pancakes, I still burned the first batch.
