I bought this skin so my adult female corn snakes would have skin where she could feel the sides of the skin to feel more secure. I put this skin on the "warm side" in my tank and it seems really fun to get into the skin. It's also a good place to hide from snakes as I found some snake skins coming out of 3 big holes in the skin. This skin is also good for small ball pythons as it also allows for plenty of room to move. Good product. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I first got it it had sharp edges, I assume it was manufactured but I was able to sand them down easily with sandpaper to clean them up to make my snake safe.
