After proper setup (by carefully long and short presses on the buttons on the side of the camera, combined with a short press to turn on the remote), this small remote attaches to the selfie stick's grip and allows taking pictures without getting your hand too close to the camera. Please note that this does not take pictures with the Dualfisheye plug-in, it is only intended for normal recording. (The camera's remote control support is implemented as a plug-in that comes free with the camera, but occupies one of the 3 plug-in slots available at the time of capture. If another plug-in such as Dualfisheye or Dualfisheye RAW started, the remote control stops working even though the remote control LCD icon keeps flashing.)
