Great Peace of Mind

Did you know that the police are currently not investigating who caused traffic accidents? Instead, they just flag the incident and let your two insurance companies take care of it. So now DVRs MUST protect you, even if the other person is trying to blame you. So I was happy to get this DVR for my peace of mind. Installation was easy and straightforward. Once activated, you can set automatic recording, just leave it on and never worry about it again. In the event of an accident or if you hit the brake and the accelerometer detects a sudden stop, this recorded segment is now saved for you to watch later or save to your computer. A 16GB microSD card is included for your convenience so you don't have to buy one, and the method of writing to the card is first-write-first-erase, so it can still overwrite itself and won't run out Place. It's a good idea to check your card on your computer from time to time to make sure there aren't any unnecessary files saved, as this reduces the capacity of loop recordings. I also appreciate the other included features like the in-camera sensor to detect distances e.g. when you're too close to the car in front of you, when you pull out of your lane, etc. However, the key feature is the video quality and it's very decent, 1080p, with a wide 130-degree field of view. Overall, this camera gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing that if I was ever in a head-on collision, the truth would be recorded.

Pros
  • Video Playback Software. Use the MiVue Manager PC software to view and share your recordings in Full HD on social networks or play back your route with a GPS video overlay synced with Google Maps. The dashcam includes a 16GB Class 10 microSD card for storage.
Cons
  • Useless functions
