Review on BSEED Appliance Protector Voltage Brownout by Jack Watkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does the job for power strips and surge protectors

Where I live the electricity supply is extremely unreliable with lots of blackouts, power surges and brown energy that tends to fry appliances. I have just purchased and installed a new 220v air conditioner for a significant amount of money and I need to protect it. This BSEED device is really the only product I could find that even claims to protect a 220v socket. It was easy to install and worked straight away, seems to be working, time will tell how it actually protects. One complaint is the bright sticker on the front, written in Spanish, that identifies the different LEDs and what they mean. I'm not ready to pull it off yet, but that shouldn't be a problem in the first place. Soften it, BSEED. Application - since writing this I have had several electrical problems in my house (blackouts and short power supply from the electric company, and corrosion and sparking of the connection in the outdoor junction box) and this unit worked like a master and did exactly what it was supposed to do should - cut power to my new air conditioner until the problem is resolved. Power was restored a few minutes after the voltage returned to normal, and although the label is written in a language I don't understand, the meaning of the multicolored LEDs that lit up was intuitive. Perfect.
