I have read all the reviews and I want to fix what you actually did. This product has been out of stock for some time and new stock levels are not 100% accurate. I mean white block. I don't know black/mocha. I suspect it will be the same, but I don't think it's ever sold out, so maybe it's not redesigned like white? The product I received on November 7, 2020 is good, I just want to point out any discrepancies with the description and the actual product. The lower stars I gave is due to the misleading description. Again, the product is good. 1) The mentioned problem with loops has been fixed with new loops. However, they are not released slowly. These are regular hinges that don't slowly lower the door. You need to carefully lower it yourself. It is no problem for me. They are screwed instead of glued like other reviews say so the old ones probably broke. 2) The folding shelf has an actual load limit of 10 pounds instead of the description limit of 6 pounds. That's positive if it's true. The 10 pound limit is listed in the instructions I received with the product. 3) The shelves are adjustable as advertised but they are wood not glass as advertised. It's not a problem for me, but you should know. 4) The 'magnetic lip' mentioned in the description to access the picture slot is not magnetic, just a piece of wood that fits snugly and is snug. No problem. Note. The hardware pouch is inside the box, so don't throw away the packaging until you find the hardware pouch. I thought they locked me in but it was there. Also note that the image is behind the photo provided and it is plexiglass and not tempered glass as advertised. It's also covered in a brown sticker for protection, so you might think it's part of a door/frame and think there's no 'glass'. That's why I thought they locked me in here. I finally saw him. Overall I like the device and it works well. Again, my lower star rating is only due to the misleading description. I think it's a little overpriced. Hope this is helpful?
