Attaches easily and feels solid. I've adjusted the length so that when I'm standing still and both bags are upright, my carry-on is on the floor in front of my two-wheeled suitcase, but in motion the smaller bag presses against the suitcase and kind of curls up. on it so that the entire weight of both bags falls on the large wheels of the suitcase. With all the weight of both bags, they're a lot easier to carry! A side note: when my large (soft) suitcase was full and no longer flat on top, my smaller bag had a tendency to fall off. page finally. Though it didn't matter much. I also attach a hook to it so I don't have to clip the smaller bag on - it would be nice to be able to detach and reattach the smaller bag even more quickly.
