I bought these lights to use on my apartment balcony (approx 15ft x 5ft) at night to make it cozier. I ended up buying a Lutron LED compatible Credenza Dimmer (TTCL-100H-WH) to dim the brightness. This combination works great; At full brightness the lamps hum, but between 25% and 75% dimmed brightness there's no noise or buzz at all - I think that's an acceptable compromise because if I ever need full brightness I can just unplug them. As there are no built in weatherproof LED dimmers I also bought the smallest SOCKiT BOX FL-1859-200 to install the dimmer and then two external extensions to connect the dimmer to the wall/lights and then this finally paired with Woods 59746 Outdoor 24-Hour Photoelectric Timer with Wireless Remote Control for convenient remote control! Overall I'm very happy with this setup and love these LED lights! They look great and are energy efficient so I don't feel bad using them. I had a lightbulb in the box that had a manufacturing issue and was full of condensation inside (making it blurry). I contacted Brightech support through Revain and they arranged for a replacement bulb to be sent to me, although it took a couple of weeks. I am very happy with their support.
