Updated 06/13/20:Bought my third and will be buying two more for the kids. My wife and I have been riding with the silver bell on our road bikes for about a year, and they are fantastic. People can hear us from an incredible distance, easily 200 feet. In fact I typically get a slightly startled reaction from folks when I’m close, so I use it when I really need to. Many people have headphones on or are super distracted chatting so that really comes in handy.I recently outfitted my mountain bike with this bell, and it carries well through trees and in a variety of environments.
