If the screw doesn't fit, look on the floor.

Much frustration to install. The screw was too small for the back hole, it seemed. I kept trying to figure it out and began cursing it at the same time. The screw eventually dropped to the floor, where I noticed a shiny square nut. It took a few minutes to figure out that the nut had fallen out of a slot on the back side of the attachment grasp sometime when I was trying to fit the bell onto the handlebar. That made the screw seem too small for the back hole and the bell impossible to install…

Pros
  • It is an excellent investment for your safety and that of your fellow cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for regular use

A lot of ding for such a small ring bell

Great sound for such a small Bell.I wanted to let folks know walking the Greenway that I was approaching - when further away - and this bell does the trick. It has a single ‘ding’ that can be repeted as needed w/o being overbearing. I wanted something small- yet loud. The only negative thing is that the handle grip is only for small 3/4” handle bars and required me to zip tie it to my my over size road bike handle bars. Took a point off for not having a wider handle extension - but love that I…

Pros
  • The bell's superior quality contributes to a safe and enjoyable cycling experience
Cons
  • May become less effective with age

Nice small bell for my opinion

I wanted an unobtrusive bell for my electric scooter for warning pedestrians and bikers that I was passing. I originally bought a different style bell that looked like it would be less obtrusive but I returned it because it was too quiet. This one blends with the handlebar almost as well but is much louder. If I lost it I would buy the same bell again.

Pros
  • The bell is environmentally friendly and does not require batteries or electricity to function
Cons
  • May not match the style of all bikes

Great Quality,, Sound MAterials. You need this on your bike. You probably had one as a kid, and it is fun as an adult. Pleasant sound and better than shouting particularly at cross walks or mixed use hiking, jogging and biking trails. Pure Bbberrrrinnggg bell tone. Get one for each of your family bikes. Good for teaching kids bike etiquette.

Pros
  • It is an affordable accessory that can enhance the functionality and safety of your bike
Cons
  • May be too expensive compared to other options

This doesn't fit in all bikes

We purchased two of these, one for my daughter's bike and one for my own. It fit my daughter's bike perfectly, but it didn't fit my handlebars. The loop is not adjustable and if your handlebars are too wide, there's no way to put it on. The bell itself works well and makes a nice crisp sound. I wish however that it would work on my bike as well.

Pros
  • It is designed to last longer, ensuring you won't have to replace it anytime soon
Cons
  • May not be audible over music or headphones

Bells not as clear as before.

We ordered these bells previously for our bikes and ordered them again for our electric scooters and they’re just not as loud and crisp. The bells seem a little more flimsy too.

Pros
  • The mini size of the bell makes it easy to install on the handlebars and does not take up much space
Cons
  • May not be powerful enough to warn motorists

Super loud bell! good for me

Amazing bell that survived a crash on my electric scooter. It came apart after the crash but was easily put back together. The sound on it is so amazingly loud but not too overly loud that you scare pedestrians. Loud enough to alert them. Sometimes even loud enough to alert cars. There is 2 distinctive tones when you use the bell.

Pros
  • Ordered for my 3 year old. He won’t be able to thumb it. Too stiff.
Cons
  • Brass material can be prone to tarnishing

Good bell.but? in my review

I like the bell. It’s small, and looks fine. IF you hit the strike bar hard, it emits a nice (great) warning.but if you hit it for a ‘soft’ warning, forget it! Installation? OK - I found it very difficult to get the spacer around my handlebar; good in that I know it’s going to stay there - but bad because it really hurt my arthritic fingers. I can’t compare this to other bells on the market today, but yes, I like it.

Pros
  • Bike Bells
Cons
  • Not suitable for off-road biking

DIIINNNGGG, DIIINNNGGG! Great value and EXCELLENT sound!

Updated 06/13/20:Bought my third and will be buying two more for the kids. My wife and I have been riding with the silver bell on our road bikes for about a year, and they are fantastic. People can hear us from an incredible distance, easily 200 feet. In fact I typically get a slightly startled reaction from folks when I’m close, so I use it when I really need to. Many people have headphones on or are super distracted chatting so that really comes in handy.I recently outfitted my mountain bike…

Pros
  • The sound of the bell can also be used to attract attention in case of emergencies such as accidents or injuries
Cons
  • May not be suitable for competitive cycling

"Does what is says on the tin "

Just got it and installed it. It's nice and loud, seems well made (though the bottom is plastic, so take that fwiw; the bell half seems well made and solid), installed easy.Maybe a little over priced; almost $10 for a tiny bell . half of which is plastic. Closer to $5 total would've been more realistic. It's worth mentioning though, that it's a Left-handed bell. If you want to mount it "normally", as in the bell facing up, or on top, you'll need to mount it near your left handle. In order to use

Pros
  • The BONMIXC Bike Bell Brass Mini is made of high-quality brass material which makes it durable
Cons
  • Can be difficult to locate when not in use

so nice I bought it twice

I installed this on a second e-bike after being happy with the performance for my original purchase. the tone of the Bell breaks most traffic background noise and as good to alert pedestrians in pathway as well as other bikers

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • Can be overpowered by surrounding sounds

This is the one to buy!

Cheap, easy to install (one screw, large enough if you drop it, you'll still be able to fine it), fits easily on the handlebar and has a clear ring. Go for it! I initially bought one of those circular things for $14 and returned it within 15 minutes of unpacking it.

Pros
  • The bell comes with mounting hardware and is easy to install
Cons
  • May startle timid pedestrians or animals

I ride a lot on dedicated non-motorized paths in northern Michigan. Occasionally, the need to pass other bikes or navigate through pedestrian traffic arises. I found after a year or so that (1) voice warnings when approaching pedestrians and some bikers often startled them - in rare instances even causing them to move in the wrong direction and into my path (2) I was getting tired of giving frequent voice warnings. With a bell, most people seem less startled and more understanding of the…

Pros
  • It is a useful accessory for riders who love cycling in open areas, parks, and hiking trails
Cons
  • May interfere with bike mirrors or lights

Really good quality and Very Loud!

I like this bell a lot, but the only dislike is that it is not for a right-handed person, as the only way to put this bell is on the left side, which is fine, but I prefer the right side.

Pros
  • It is compatible with different types of handlebars, ensuring a perfect fit for your bike
Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with arthritis
