My wife Kristin and I bought this player as a separate home unit. We wanted something reliable, comfortable and attractive. The device arrived well packaged and quickly, within a few days. First, the device was easy to set up. The instructions were clear, descriptive and simple. In addition, the finish is attractive. It looks retro and took me back in time to the old turntables. In addition, the turntable is easy to use, the mechanics are smooth and the stylus is of good quality. The sound is clear and the speakers are more than adequate to handle the volume. For home use, the turntable is fun, comfortable, easy to use, attractive and delivers great sound. In the video, Kristin sets up the device and demonstrates how to use it, including: 1. Volume control2. Switch for 33 LP and 45 Record3. Lever to lower the needle onto the record (and raise above the record)4. Use and placement of the needle4. Using the Capture Adapter 45 As you can see, even those new to the standalone player can easily create wonders. There are ports for connecting to the receiver. This is important because when you buy a party machine you need to use it as an accessory with a receiver and a more robust speaker system. Overall, this is a quality and attractive all-in-one turntable that is worth buying. And I'm grateful for the opportunity to play some of my records again. Vinyl delivers amazing sound that won't go out of style anytime soon.
