This should be K2, not 3-III. I was full of energy to go there and capture the moments because as much as I love my venerable K-3 OG, it's head and shoulders above it. Slightly heavier but much better autofocus. And the high ISO is amazing; Handheld photo of Mercury in the night sky, taken with a Sigma 18-300 at 300mm, ISO 102000. This raw photo obviously won't win an award, but it shows how good this camera is. The rest of the photos are also unedited. All shot with a Big Sig lens. For people who shoot landscapes and birds, the dynamic range is great, the viewfinder is great and the dials are so easy to use that it feels like using a film camera again, but with all the benefits of a digital camera. And it's a durable, sealed Pentax that's built to last, not just indoors or anywhere in the backyard. What could be better is that the AF point is easier to see. I wish it had built in GPS/Astrtracer although the phone connection works great so I could send photos to family as soon as they were taken. But the battery is likely to use less power if you don't have to use Wi-Fi/Bluetooth to geotag your photos. I plan to capture countless moments with this amazing new camera!
