has excellent non-slip grip. The pad prevents the removal of too much dead skin. Easy to change razor. Comes with several spare razors. It can fall apart like everyone else if you push down with a downward motion. It is not designed for this type of work. I quickly learned to keep it light. Place it gently on calluses/dead skin without pressing, run it lightly over skin and it's so sharp it removes it with little effort. I LOVE it and would buy it again if needed. It's durable and so well made that I doubt I'll need anything other than a spare razor. (There are so many extra razors that I don't have to buy a replacement for a very long time). It comes with a beautifully crafted storage box that can be placed and hidden from children.
