I have used a few different lenses on my phone but this one impressed me as soon as I opened it. It just looks and feels a lot more professional than other toys. It uses glass - and yes, the lens is a lot larger than a typical phone's camera, so it's undeniably bigger and heavier than it should be, but I love the feel and how it gives you confidence that it's a phone quality product. . Today this is a rarity. How it works? Well, if you've never used it, you must have certain expectations. Any crude clip-on lens will not match a professional DSLR lens. Most likely you have vignetting (dark corners), uneven focus across the image, and in the case of macros - they have VERY shallow depth of field - move a millimeter and the focus goes off. It's also difficult to keep everything in focus with a 3D object, but that's part of the art and fun. With that in mind, I think this attachable lens is well above average. Not perfect, but one that stands out from the rest. I don't really care about the wide angle as it gives a fisheye effect which I don't like but the price of the kit is only worth it for the macro which makes it fun to take out into nature and photograph leaves, bugs and the like . I wouldn't look for a phone macro anymore - try this one! the sky is so harsh and full of smoke but you get the point) 1) Normal - no lens 2) With wide angle lens - fish eye effect 3) Close up of tissue.
