Get what you pay for

I need volumetric bearings for various hobby projects. These basically fit the bill. I was expecting a little better quality than what I received but they are great for my needs. There are *MANY* differences in quality among the 50 I received. They are all lubricated unevenly and require maintenance before use. Luckily the rubber shields don't fit very well so they can fall out on their own if you do then you can mix and match the gaskets until one fits and stays in place. Some spin smoothly and some don't spin at all. even after cleaning and lubrication. All of the ones I've tested have a significant gap between the inner and outer races, causing them to fail quickly and catastrophically when used as intended. But as a toy, for something that doesn't move very fast, doesn't need to be precisely aligned and doesn't carry a load, they're fine. Yes, if you need a bearing that doesn't work you've found the perfect part :) I'm assuming it was a defect that failed quality control at the factory and is now being given out in bulk to everyone . I take her. I will note that since I ordered them I have found a listing of 100 for the same price ($18). I can't think of any lower quality control (probably from the same source) and with twice as many you get decentr samples. I would give them 3/5. I couldn't bring myself to give anything as low as 4 stars at all costs.
