We are feeding this to two dogs that will be used in breeding season this year. Basenji season occurs only once a year and usually starts in mid-August. Therefore, stud dogs should be in optimal condition by the end of July and survive through the fall and early winter months. This has been mixed with their regular diet and makes up about 50% of their total diet. We have never fed anchovies before and look forward to seeing what we will see in these very energetic dogs. Used alone, the price is quite high, but as a complement to other products, it is reasonable if it meets the requirements on the product page.
