Very convenient solution to routing network cables throughout a house that was built in 1995 when people were using dialup for internet access. Rather than dare the mysterious crawl space under the house [as there suerly is a grue waiting to eat me] - this setup allowed me to route a network cable from the living room where the cable modem is located to a room that required 50 feet of cable. I was able to route this cable behind the baseboard/under the rug as needed. MUCH esaier than crawling around the crawl space.
