Because my Apple AirPods Pro kept breaking, I had to find a replacement. Yet, first impressions are merely average. After reading the laudatory reviews, my expectations were raised. Where did Sony go wrong? Benefits include: I have not discovered any distinct benefits as of now. It has superior noise cancellation compared to AirPods Pro. The audio is noticeably richer, though not spectacularly so. Some drawbacks: Huge, moronic idiot. Even though the phone displayed 100% charge, the charging light in the case has been on for about an hour. Landing in the ears with no guarantee, trying to bounce out with a head turn but failing miserably. The proportions are enormous when put next to AirPods Pro. Putting it in your trouser pocket won't help. An iOS app with a cumbersome user experience. Who came up with the idea of giving each earpiece its own voice?
