I got them on a whim and damn I'm glad I did. A few days after we received them, we had an accidental flood in the basement. A new sponge fell into the wash bowl next to our washing machine and clogged the drain. Water, water everywhere. The tide wasn't that big, but as my house has aged, it's full of random things that are hard to move or manoeuvre. We did a simple sweep and I put these little things all over it. Everything was dry in the morning. I was glad there were enough to put under the washing machine, on the walls, in the middle of the floor. Very versatile and efficient.
