This is by far the loudest pump I have ever used. We used it at our hunting camp so we could use the water we collected from the rain for rinsing venison, washing our hands, etc. It's very loud and annoying. Also, I don't recommend connecting this pump to the 12V output of the charge controller (for those using solar power). This seems to be causing some feedback harmonics that completely fried my inverter. Because of this, the inverter back then had a low AC output voltage, so it was pretty much useless at the time.
