I recently tried the cooling balaclava for sun protection during cycling and running, and I have mixed feelings. While the concept is great - keeping your head and neck cool while shielding it from the sun - the execution falls a bit short. The material is indeed breathable, but it doesn't actually feel that cooling. Additionally, the fit is a bit odd and sits weirdly on my face, which is distracting while trying to focus on my workout.
