I recently purchased a Dortmund tie for my son and overall I am happy with my purchase. First of all, the fact that it can be washed is a game changer. As every parent knows, boys are boys and splatters and stains are inevitable. Being able to just toss a tie in the wash and it will look great is a huge plus. The design of the tie is also very stylish, with a subtle but distinctive pattern that sets it apart from a simple solid color tie. Good quality material, the tie is well preserved after repeated use and washing. However, I have a few criticisms. At first I found the tie to be a little shorter than I expected, making it difficult to tie a proper knot. While the design is beautiful, it may not be suitable for more formal occasions. Overall I think the Dortmund tie is a great option for boys looking for a practical yet trendy accessory. While there are a few minor flaws, I would still recommend it to other parents.
